Art and the Moon

This Thursday, artists and scientists are coming together to celebrate the Moon at the LA MoonWalk.

An evening at the Pasadena Conference Center jointly hosted by  The Planetary Society and Free Arts features an “interactive pop-up art show,” a space-themed art walk, and painting activities for children, according to the event website. There will also be live music from Joe Normal & The Anytowners.

Special guests at the event include CEO of The Planetary Society and science educator Bill Nye and John Davis, creator of the children’s show Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to look through Celestron telescopes to observe the night sky.
