Moon Fruit by Moollz

This was the cover art for my first EP! I put this one in here because I have always felt a very strong connection to the moon, and I think it represents a very strong energy for a lot of my friends, as well. I also have always loved children’s book illustrations, which inspired this cover. Making this was definitely one of those “what if” pieces for me, where I just kind of let my imagination do its thing. What if you peeled open the moon and there was a 14.6 million square mile kiwi inside? READ MORE

Hagop Belian

Born in Damascus, Syria in 1977, Hagop immigrated to the United States with his sister when he was just twelve years old. As a Syrian-Armenian, he is motivated to preserve his culture and share it in a way that challenges stereotypes. While Hagop’s works are eye-catching – even startling – in their surrealism upon first glance, they are very much grounded in reality. READ MORE

Buoy on blue pillow

In addition to interviewing his fellow canines, Buoy enjoys swimming at his family’s lake house, being told how handsome he is, and playing with his friends (a white Labrador named Dewey and a Shih-Tzu named Nellie, to name a few). Mystery novelist Davis MacDonald aka Don Davis

According to MacDonald, “The Judge has a legal mind. He’s trained as a lawyer, as I am. If you go to a good law school – I went to USC, and I was number one in my class – they don’t teach you to pass the bar, they don’t teach you to practice law, they teach you a different way to think.” It is that difference that makes The Judge a well-defined, three-dimensional character, able to approach investigations from the perspective of the legal mind. “He’s a clever and experienced guy, but a judge no longer. Davis MacDonald video

The Bay, released this year, touches on another social issue currently predominate in our world; extremist Muslims who are out to destroy this country, its institutions and people, by active violence, or by stealth. “It’s unfortunate, but those of the Muslim faith who are not extremists are often negatively profiled by the police, the press, their neighbors, and the public, all because of the activities of a handful of Muslims on a destructive path,” says Davis. The Judge presides over this tale of murder which takes place in Newport Beach and California’s famed Orange Coast, tracking a plot aimed at destroying Orange County forever. READ MORE
