Photography combines technologic knowledge with artistic interpretation: The former can be learned while the latter is probably both a natural & innate ability that can be improved with thoughtful effort and experience. A few of my favorite photographers include include John & Barbara Gerlach, Art Wolff, Marc Adamus, and Arthur Morris.
Greg’s photography has been displayed at the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C., been featured on the National Geographic, Arizona Highways, and National Wildlife Federation websites, and been published in numerous books.
I started taking photos–when I was made to select an art in Junior High school–but have been seriously into photography for about 20 years. Probably not a conscious decision but since I don’t particularly enjoy being IN photographs, being the one taking the photos manages to keep me out of the frame.
