Indulgence: What is your favorite indulgence? Do you cook? What is your specialty meal? What is your favorite restaurant in LA where you indulge yourself?
My favorite indulgence is Raw Oysters. They are an acquired taste, but I love them. I cook somewhat, trying to master various ethnic dishes — wish me luck! One of my favorite restaurants in LA is Shima on Abbot Kinney. The restaurant displays several of my originals and not only do they have good taste in art, but they have the best sushi ever.
Special: Who or what holds a special place in your heart? How does this factor into your creative process?
I have an assistant who is always there for me he is a separate set of eyes that I sometimes need.
Time: What is your all-time favorite piece of writing/art/music you’ve created?
There isn’t just the one. My favorites are the ones that are not commissioned, the ones that come from me, free of influences.
