Another Greg Tucker event: The Bear with dinner in tow. According to Greg, “every day brings something new to learn, somewhere else to explore. Find a hobby and you’ll always have something to do.”

Don’t ask her what she is majoring in; she doesn’t know yet, but she plans on pursuing a career in drama therapy. Once, she was a debutante. Sometimes, she is an actress, waterskier, and snow skier. She is always a Sex and the City fan, animal lover, and proud Angeleno. Please welcome Natalie to the TribeLA Magazine team.

Photography combines technologic knowledge with artistic interpretation: The former can be learned while the latter is probably both a natural & innate ability that can be improved with thoughtful effort and experience. A few of my favorite photographers include include John & Barbara Gerlach, Art Wolff, Marc Adamus, and Arthur Morris.

ART REVIEW of Sea Otter and Family photo by Fine Art photographer Greg Tucker
I started taking photos–when I was made to select an art in Junior High school–but have been seriously into photography for about 20 years. Probably not a conscious decision but since I don’t particularly enjoy being IN photographs, being the one taking the photos manages to keep me out of the frame.
ART TODAY 06.24.17: Erin Hanson’s Zion Vista, “I just want people to be happy when they see my paintings”
The bridge over the Virgin River, in Zion National Park, is a popular spot to catch the beautiful red cliffs and winding river. This painting captures all the drama and magnificence of this amazing vista. The oil paint was thickly applied with a brush, the impressionsitic colors melding together to capture the fleeting light of dawn.
ART TODAY 06.23.17: Clouds Above by Erin Hanson
Expressive clouds dance above the horizon, spilling their color into the reflective pool of water below. The brush strokes are thick and impressionistic, capturing the motion and vibrancy of the wide outdoors.
