A funny story from Shindana

William and I hosted a welcome to the island, dinner for our friends and family who joined for the wedding. Two hours before the event, I asked the hotel to steam my white linen dress. Unfortunately I wasn’t in the room because I was having hair, make-up, and a rehearsal. When William and I walked in, the dress was hanging up in plain sight for him to see… it was my wedding dress. They must have not understood what I was saying when I gave them direction and steamed the wrong dress. Thank God I had purchased two wedding dresses. So I wore the other one.

I’ve created over 150 fake album covers for bands that don’t exist, as well as fake concert posters and T-shirts. Moollz orders a decaf peppermint tea. She doesn’t vibe with caffeine, despite managing the rigors of being a student at Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at New York University. “I’m studying music business, music theory, composition, production, and engineering,” she rattles off as if she’s studying basic arithmetic. She hopes to delve further into songwriting, film scoring, and multi media branding as well as honing her craft as a songwriter and composer.
