Chris: I did this for myself after seeing some inspiring photos of David. I wanted to make his hair as silver as possible. I bought some metallic silver paint, but it looked too dull on the canvas so I started applying heavy duty aluminum foil with acrylic Matte Medium being used as the glue to compose the hair. The piece just recently sold to a collector in Austin, Texas.

Chris Bonno has a Bachelors Degree in Studio art from the University of Texas at Austin with honors. His work has appeared in National Lampoon Magazine, The L.A. Weekly, The WGA Magazine (as well on TV shows like Talk Soup, The Gilmore Girls and Caroline in the City). He is painting to get ready for an unnamed art show as yet to be determined.
