There are doors we can’t open by ourselves. Sometimes it takes an alchemy of two people to experiences new levels of beauty, love and intimacy. (Outi)

TribeLA Magazine Acrostic Interview.6

Special: Who or what holds a special place in your heart? How does this factor in to your process?

Love holds special place in my heart and I think the process of painting is sacred in all of its messiness and tranquility. It simultaneously connects me to deeper places in my being and something bigger outside of myself.

Time: What is your all-time favorite piece of writing/art/music you’ve created?

Painting called of Journey. I sold it. First painting that I really miss. I felt good being in a same room with her. I could make a print for myself but there is nothing like the original. It holds all the energy.

Full Acristic Interview in its entirety tomorrow.

Outi’s colors are bold and vibrant. Her main character(s) appears to be an archetypal, mythological female who often illuminates soulful, spiritual power along with a earthly whimsicality.
